How to use one of these without sounding generic
A caption works when it says one specific thing about your year. The lines above are openers, not finished copy: add the one detail only you would know.
- Keep the first line short. Instagram cuts the caption after about two lines in the feed — that first line is the whole caption for most people.
- Name one moment. “The year everything moved” becomes yours with a city, a month, a person.
- Don't explain the grid. Everyone knows what a top 9 is. Say something the grid doesn't already show.
Or let the app write three
The Caption Lab in Prevz drafts three options from your idea, your photos, or both — with the language and the tone you pick. Refine one option without touching the other two: shorter, more confident, less polished, or keep the meaning.
